Startup weekend utrecht is a non profit organization, these lovely people made it happen!
Core team
- Is motivated by creative people, crazy ideas, impossible situations turned into opportunities, great music, basketball and ancient mechanics. My focus lies on the thin line where business process and people meet. This Startup weekend is a great way to experience interaction over innovative ideas and pursuing shared goals, motivated solely on the chance of building a new business. People make and break ideas, a great opportunity is useless without a skilled and motivated entrepreneurial mind. At JongeHonden we nourish/encourage the innovative power of open-minded young-professionals, we motivate our clients to think, by doing their work and simply ask questions.

- I recently joined StartUp Weekend Amsterdam and became part of a winning team. I joined StartUp Weekend London and - taking good advice - discovered that even if you don't win, you can still have a lot of fun becoming 6th out of 63 with some crazy Fripsters on board ;-) Hence, this time I'm organizing... seriously! I love startups. I love organizing. Connecting people in business is what I do best, using some of my networking skills during coffee, lunch or even after dinner drinks ;-) Further more I - once in a while - have brilliant ideas which I happily share with people, always eager to receive some good and constructive feedback. Somehow sometimes those ideas become businesses. At the age of 18, I started my first company and learned that being an entrepreneur is more than creating a business. It's a process of research, creating a product or a service, selling it, improving it, managing people and finances along the way. It's how you act upon failure. It's dealing with success. Yes indeed, Good Things Happen When You Go For it!!!! :-)

- I am an entrepreneur originally from Mexico and currently living in Utrecht. My primary focus is on designing sustainable development models, concepts and strategies that generate high sustainable impacts at the local level. I love startups and the energy of new entrepreneurs. At the moment I am working with an amazing team on my second startup called, "SustentableS”, a global social network for sustainable projects, through which we promote and support sustainable entrepreneurship. Our actions include work on open innovation and open source design technologies and community projects that will encourage sustainable growth of communities worldwide. We are designing amazing tools such as apps, concepts, strategies and technologies so that entrepreneurs can save our planet through sustainable innovation. I have participated as an entrepreneur in the SW Amsterdam, and as it was such an incredible experience, I have decided to get involved with the organization and support all these imaginative and genius startups.
